June Death of 3-Month-Old Bronx Girl Ruled a Homicide

    The medical examiner has ruled the June death of a 3-month-old Bronx girl a homicide, and says she died of trauma to the torso and head. 

    Police responding to a 911 call about a child struggling to breathe at a home on 168th Street June 22 found the child unconscious. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died four days later. 

    The child was identified as Chelsea Gadson. 

    Anyone with information about her death is asked to call police.
