Sunday is expected to be less pleasant, with more clouds than sun taking over the sky for much of the day along with light showers that are expected to extend into Monday.

But waiting through the rain and chill should be worth it, Storm Team 4 says: some superb spring weather is in store beginning Tuesday, with temperatures throughout the week in the 60s and plenty of sunshine. Wednesday is expected to reach 69 degrees, and Thursday is expected to be nearly as nice.

Long-term computer models are hinting that this persistent chilly pattern will finally break by mid-May, according to Storm Team 4.
