Authorities say five students at an upstate New York community college were stabbed during a fight at
an off-campus party, but their injuries aren't serious.
Vincent Begley, a Sullivan County Community College spokesman,
says the stabbings happened early Friday morning in the hamlet of
Loch Sheldrake.
Begley says the party was at the Edgewood Dorms, a privately
owned rental complex. He says some students live there, but it
isn't affiliated with the college.
He says four students were treated at a local hospital and
released. A fifth suffered facial cuts and was transferred to
Westchester Medical Center.
Police haven't released any other information about the fight or
how it started.
