Police have released surveillance video of a red Jeep Wrangler believed to be the vehicle that fatally struck a Bronx woman last month.

Dawn Affoumani, 42, died Feb. 12 when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing White Plains Road in the Bronx, police said.

Affoumani was trying to cross from the west side to the east side of the road at about 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Story Avenue, police said. The vehicle was traveling southbound on White Plains Road when it struck her, then continued on.

The vehicle is described as a 1997 to 2012 red Jeep Wrangler with a black soft-top roof.

The attached surveillance video shows the Jeep approaching the intersection.
