Crowbar Burglar Steals From Brooklyn Apartment Supply Room: NYPD

    Authorities are searching for a burglar who now has struck a third time by breaking into a supply room using a crowbar, police say.

    Police are looking for a burglar in Brooklyn they say has struck for a third time in the last week, according to the NYPD.

    The latest robbery was captured on surveillance tape on Tuesday, authorities said.

    Video shows the man scavenging around a room in the apartment building. 

    The suspect used a crowbar to break into a supply room at an apartment building on MacDonough Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to police.

    The man got away with $1,500 in tools and cleaning supplies, officials said.

    Police said the 40-something-year-old suspect tried to break into two other homes last week, but was unsuccessful.
