A 56-year-old Bronx man has been charged with murder in the killing of his 19-year-old daughter, police say.
Andrew Atkins was arrested Tuesday after officers found his daughter, Latia Taylor-Atkins, unconsious in their apartment on East 201st Street in the Bedford Park neighborhood Friday afternoon.
She was taken to Montefiore Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
It’s not clear how or why Taylor-Atkins was killed.
Atkins faces murder and manslaughter charges.
It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
