Another metropolis is about to get the Kardashian treatment.
The sisters, savvy users of social media, announced their arrival in the Big Apple last weekend.
“Fireworks over the Brooklyn Bridge. Welcome to NYC bayba baaaybay!” Kim wrote on her Twitter account.
“Mason, Kim, Scott [Disick] and I arrived in NYC,” said Kourtney in a post to her personal blog. “So excited for some fall in the Big Apple. No better place…Are you ready, NYC?”
Youngest sister Khloe Kardashian Odom, Kourtney’s partner in crime down in South Beach, will head back to the West Coast with her husband as his Los Angeles Lakers prepare to defend their NBA title. She is expected to make periodic appearances on the new spin-off.
On “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the L.A. based show in the series, Kourtney has repeatedly expressed a desire to move to the East Coast, a feeling echoed by her boyfriend.
“I know it’s bad luck to tell your wish to everybody, but my wish would be to get the hell away from her [Kourtney's] family in California,” Disick said on a recent episode.
While the new show will focus on the sister’s efforts to open a third location of their Dash clothing boutique, it will no doubt feature the high society living that the family has become known for. There’s also sure to be a focus on the relationship between Kourtney and Scott, which deteriorated over the last season of the Miami show due to Disick’s partying and drinking.
