While designer John Galliano is currently in seclusion and facing charges over his alleged anti-Semitic remarks in Paris, in an interesting twist, one of the models in the small presentation for the designer's eponymous line wore a Star of David tattoo on her arm.
In another perhaps-indended, perhaps-unintentional move, The New York Times reports that the song selection for the presentation included Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," which features the chorus, "We could have had it all"; as well as Coldplay's "Viva La Vida," which starts off with the phrase: "I used to rule the world."
