For her first public appearance since her pregnancy was announced, Kate Middleton donned an emerald green Alexander McQueen number designed by Sarah Burton, who famously designed the Duchess' lace-sleeved wedding dress.
Middleton wore the look—a floor length dress with a flattering V-neckline, subtly ruched sleeves and a daringly flirty skirt slit—to present at the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
Coincidentally, Burton is also pregnant. Just last week,The Telegraph asked the designer if she would be prepping any maternity pieces for Middleton, to which she responded, ""I hope I will be".
Given the huge impact that Burton's wedding dress had on the bridal market, we're betting any Middleton pregnancy creations will be similarly influential in maternity wear.
