This year, even more high-wattage musicians are paying tribute to Tibet.

The 21st Annual Tibet House Benefit Concert lineup, slated for March 3 at Carnegie Hall, includes some returning faces:  the Flaming Lips, Patti Smith, Michael Stipe, Angelique Kidjo. New additions this year include the Roots and James McCartney. The series is curated by composer Philip Glass.

The festivities coordinate with Tibetan New Year, which is traditionally celebrated with two weeks of festivities in Lhasa, the administrative capital of Tibet. Last year’s concert included performances by Iggy Pop, Regina Spektor, and Gogol Bordello.

    Tickets are currently on sale.
