Beyonce and hubby of two years Jay-Z seemed crazy in love during the debut of her fragrance “Beyonce Heat” in Union Square last night, offering a rare glimpse into the private life of the megawatt star.
The famously private power couple showed some rare PDA Tuesday night when Jay-Z put his arm around his pop diva wife and the pair bopped along to The Dream's "Rockin' That S---" at 15 Union Square, which was lit up in red lights in honor of the singer's bash.
Celebrity pals like Usher, Sherri Shepherd, former Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams and Beyonce's mom, Tina, attended the launch. And Beyonce's baby sis Solange spun tunes from Prince, The Cardigans and Earth, Wind and Fire.
Solange led the ladies in the house in a brief sing-a-long to No Doubt’s break-up opus “Don’t Speak,” and despite Jay-Z’s apparent disinterest, Beyonce reveled in the impromptu jam. But the pair stayed by each other’s side for most of the night and cut out around 11 p.m., presumably to heat up some other A-list locale.
