Toren, one of the new buildings going up in the Flatbush Avenue corridor had a topping off thingy back when we were still having summer beach dreams and, now, at night, the construction lights in the interior can be seen from a distance. We took a walk around it yesterday to check on the progress of the unique skin being applied to the SOM-designed structure. The metal and glass is now about halfway up the building, although it's still really hard to tell how closely the finished product will resemble the renderings. The building will have 240 units when all is said and done and retail at street level.
