There are new treats on the Dessert Truck! A dark-chocolate mousse bombe and the bombolini have returned to the truck to join the POM macarons on the fall menu, Midtown Lunch has discovered. Chef Jerome Chang's bombolini are deep-fried brioche filled with pastry cream and tossed in cinnamon and sugar. If it's brisk out, note that the chocolate-sealed bombe comes chilled. On weekdays, find the mobile dessert bar on Park Avenue at 52nd from noon to 4 p.m. and nightly on St. Marks Place near Third Avenue from 6 p.m. till midnight or no more treats, whichever comes first.
