Project Runway Struts Into Gaming

Reality tv show to become a video game next year

Next spring you'll be able to "make it work" and strut your stuff down your living room runway.

Atari and the Weinstein Company just announced plans to create the "Project Runway" video game for Wii.  Details are still being worked out reports Variety, but fans should expect series host Heidi Klum and fashion connoisseur Tim Gunn to be involved.

The game, similar to the Lifetime sensation, will allow players to compete as aspiring fashion designers challenged to create unique designs, and choose hair, make-up and accessories for their model.

Players then become the model, strutting their masterpiece, or unpleasant disaster down the runway using Wii's Balance Board.  Once the gamer gets bored with modeling (though how could you?), the player could opt to become a fashion photographer that documents the designs.

With an average of 4.2 million viewers each week, fans of Project Runway will just have to "carry on" until the games release next year.
