Travis Henry Is Suspended for 1 Year Regardless of Not Being Actually Employed

The NFL is so happy go lucky these days that they're just willingly handing out suspensions to players that aren't even employed by any particular team. Actually, this is a common practice. At least as common as it is to see former Broncos running back Travis Henry's name on a suspension list.

Former Broncos running back Travis Henry headlines a list of 11 free agents that have been suspended by the NFL, reports NFL Netwok's Adam Schefter.

Their suspensions will begin immediately and will last until they are reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The suspended players are eligible to be signed by any club, but must be signed no later than 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday of any week and the signing club must make room on its 53-player Active List for at least one business day.

Well, in good news, Henry probably won't have to deal with those restrictions, since he's not getting signed by anyone. Even after a full year of kicking it with his kids.
