Live in Frank Sinatra’s Home for $7.7M

Frank Sinatra's former Upper East Side duplex penthouse, where he lived from 1961-1972, is now officially on the market for $7.7 million, reports Curbed. The lavish penthouse features a bevy of modern details that we imagine weren't in place when the late singer lived here, including amenities such as a glass spiral staircase (the exact same one used in the Apple stores), a putting green and solar panels. Take a tour of Ol' Blue Eyes' former digs, which he apparently even helped design.

Talk about massive windows. This home, which last sold in 2010 for $2.495 million, features soaring 18-foot ceilings and magnificent views framed by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Any Apple fan will notice that the floating staircase is the same one used in the Apple stores.

The public listing proclaims that Andy Warhol once described Sinatra's penthouse as a "glittering grotto in the sky." Here's a view of the glittering living room, which is located on the main floor of the home. The co-op spread measures about 3,200 square feet.

Also on the main floor is this gourmet kitchen, a dining room, and three bedrooms, all of which boast spectacular views of the East River. Curbed reports that after the home sold in 2010, the owners renovated the pad, hence, the steep price tag.

One thing that hasn't changed in the East Side abode since Ol' Blue Eyes lived here are the remarkable views. Enjoy them from inside, or head outdoors to the amazing wraparound terrace.

Another glance at the sweet views afforded by Sinatra's former crib. While the main floor boasts three bedrooms, the upper level, accessible up the spiral staircase, features Sinatra's former master bedroom. An additional wraparound terrace is located off of the master suite, as well as a putting green and solar panel.
