A woman fell off a platform at Grand Central Terminal Thursday and was hit by an oncoming train, according to a report.
The 31-year-old woman was waiting for the Queens-bound 7 Train when she lost her balance and fell into the train’s path about 9:30 p.m., the Daily News reports.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition, officials told the News. According to the FDNY, the woman was not pinned beneath the train.
According to witnesses at the scene, a man tried to grab her, but he lost his grip.
