A 38-year-old woman was found dead in a Manhattan apartment Sunday morning and a man has been taken into custody, police said.
Latisha Fowler of Brooklyn was found unresponsive in the bedroom of an apartment on 28th Street in Kips Bay, police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding her death were no immediately clear.
Charles Pratt was later arrested and charged with murder in connection with Fowler's death, police said.
