Three people were injured, two seriously, after a mangled crash between a car and a tractor-trailer in Queens, authorities say.
Two people inside the car were hurt and were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where they are in serious but stable condition, according to the FDNY. A third victim was treated at the scene and released, authorities said.
The call came in at around 6:30 p.m. Monday involving the crash near Rockaway Boulevard and Brookville Boulevard in Springfield Gardens, the FDNY said.
Video from the scene shows debris covering the ground, while the car appears to be wedged underneath the green tractor-trailer.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known, officials said.
Police were still at the scene Monday night investigating.
