Short-handed St. John's Beats Fordham 56-50

The Johnnies used only six players in the game.

Moe Harkless had 13 points and 16 rebounds to lead short-handed St. John's to a 56-50 victory over Fordham on Saturday in the Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden.

 
The Red Storm (5-5), who only used six players in the game, put together an 18-0 run that spanned halftime and gave them a 42-26 lead with 16:53 to play.
 
Harrison had 15 points for St. John's, which finished with a 51-37 rebound advantage.
   
Branden Frazier had 17 points and Chris Gaston added 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Rams (4-6), who shot just 29.7 percent from the field.
