The search for a missing 7-year-old Brooklyn boy shifted into high gear today.
More than 100 law enforcement officers canvassed a wooded area along the border of Queens and Brooklyn, in hopes that clearer weather would aid the search for Patrick Alford.
Officers said they did find bones -- but they’re likely animal remains.
Alford went missing in January, three weeks after being placed with a foster family. Authorities believe he may have run away, looking for his biological mother.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
