A small plane made a hard landing at Monticello Raceway in upstate New York Tuesday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Federal officials say three people were on the Cirrus SR 22 aircraft, which hit a berm after it landed on the pavement at the horse track/racino around 8:30 a.m. Their conditions weren't immediately clear.
The FAA says it will investigate the hard landing.
The accident comes a day after another small plane crashed on approach to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, turning into a fireball upon impact and killing both pilots on board. No one on the ground was hurt.
