Police have charged a part-time music teacher in New Jersey with lewdness after he was allegedly seen masturbating while watching children near a bus stop.
Officers arrested 33-year-old John Watson of North Brunswick after he was seen at the stop in Denville on Tuesday.
Police Capt. Paul Nigro tells the Daily Record of Parsippany (http://dailyre.co/1yRKg2Y ) Watson has done this at least three other times.
A spokesman for the Diocese of Paterson tells the newspaper Watson was a part-time teacher at Morris catholic High School but resigned after his arrest. Rich Sokerka says his criminal background check came back clean prior to his employment.
Watson declined comment when the newspaper reached him by telephone.
