Police released surveillance images Wednesday in their search for a man who they said threatened a woman’s life in a violent subway robbery.
The 22-year-old victim was on an L train platform at the Livonia Avenue station in Brownsville on the morning of March 4 when she was robbed by a man in his early 30s.
The suspect came up from behind her and threatened to kill the woman if she didn’t give him her cellphone, police said.
The two struggled over the phone and the man punched the woman in her head.
He then took off with the phone.
