There was a large police presence in upper Manhattan on Monday morning after a man was shot in the head and critically injured, police say.
The 26-year-old man got into some sort of dispute with another man at a gas station near 10th and Sherman avenues in Inwood. Around 4:30 a.m., the other man pulled out a gun and shot him in the head, according to police.
The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
Officer were at the gas station shortly after 6:30 a.m. and a large police investigation was underway.
There were no reports of any arrests.
