Police are searching for the man who robbed and punched a 70-year-old woman in New York City last weekend.
The woman was near Centre and Cypress streets in the Ridgewood section of Queens last Saturday at 9:45 p.m. when the robber struck, police said.
The man punched the woman in the chest and then removed the purse from her shoulder, according to police.
The woman is OK, police said.
