New Jersey Transit officials say they're adding trains amid complaints of overcrowded trains on Bergen County rail lines.
Transit officials say two additional peak period trains will leave Port Jervis, New York at 5:33 a.m. and 6:33 a.m.
They will make all stops to Suffern, New York and then make selected stops in Ramsey, Ridgewood, Glen Rock and Fair Lawn. The trains will then run express to Secaucus.
Two extra evening trains will leave Secaucus at 5:19 p.m. and 7:27 p.m.
Bergen County rail trains have been displaced from the Hoboken Terminal following last week's train crash, NJ.com reported.
Officials say they'll monitor overcrowding on the Main, Bergen, Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines. Additional capacity will be deployed if available in selected areas to reduce overcrowding.
Federal investigators are working to analyze data and video recorders from the train that crashed last week, killing a woman and injuring more than 100 others.
