Motorcyclist Hits Pedestrian in Brooklyn: Police

A motorcycle struck a man who was walking in Brooklyn early Saturday, police said. 

The pedestrian was found unconscious on Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York around 6:30 a.m., the NYPD said. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the motorcycle was also hospitalized. Police said he was expected to survive his injuries. 

It wasn't clear who had the right of way, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
