A suspect slashed a man in the neck after a fight in a midtown Duane Reade, authorities said.
The victim and the suspect got into a fight at about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday at the Duane Reade on Eighth Avenue near 42nd Street, police said.
The fight spilled onto the street, where one of the men pulled a knife and slashed the other in the neck, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.
The suspect fled toward 43rd Street and has not been arrested, authorities said.
