The NYPD says a man was shot to death while waiting at a bus stop in Brooklyn.
Police say 27-year-old Melquan Henderson was found unresponsive in the middle of the street by patrol officers responding to reports of shots fired. Emergency services transported Henderson to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said he suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
The NYPD says there are no arrests and the investigation is continuing.
