2 Suspects Pull Stakes From Ground, Severely Beat Man in Bronx: NYPD

The man was attacked near Grand Concourse and Rockwood Street early Wednesday

Police are looking for two suspects who pulled tree stakes from the ground and used them to brutally beat a man early Wednesday in the Bronx.

The 28-year-old victim was said to be in critical condition with severe head trauma after the beating near Grand Concourse and Rockwood Street in Mount Eden around 1 a.m.

Authorities did not say whether the men knew each other.

Surveillance video shows two men running from the scene.
