1. Head Down to LIC in Queens to Get Cheesy

Head down to Long Island City in Queens to check out the Cheeseburger invitational on Saturday night for Goose Island beer and endless cheese. 

Seriously they have more than 1,000 pounds of it. 

You can also check out seven champion cheese monger's sculptures made entirely of cheese.

2. Popular NYC Halloween Dog Parade Canceled Is Back On

It's not Halloween in NYC without a dog parade. 

You may remember the Tompkins Square Dog Parade is back on after getting canceled earlier this year so it is worth checking out. 

Things are going to be different this year, however. It's going to be in East River Park and the extra space should mean it's bigger and better than ever.

3. Boogy Down to Prospect Park for a Halloween Party for the Family

If you need a Halloween party for the whole family then head down to Brooklyn. 

The 39th annual Halloween fair in Prospect Park party is going down Saturday afternoon. 

There will be plenty of tricks on the haunted walk through lookout hill and plenty of treats from food trucks too. 

There is an official after party at city point in Downtown Brooklyn.
