1. No Winning Mega Millions Ticket; Jackpot Climbs to $868M

No winning lottery ticket was sold for the latest Mega Millions drawing, meaning the jackpot climbs to $868 million.

Mega Millions officials say no tickets matched all 6 numbers to claim the estimated $667 million grand prize in Tuesday night's drawing. The numbers were 3, 45, 49, 61, 69 and Mega Ball 9.

The next drawing will be Friday. The estimated jackpot for that drawing would be the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

2. Why Has NYC Tap Water Tasted Different Lately?

Typically New Yorkers take for granted that their tap water tastes good and is safe, but lately some have noticed it tastes different.

Laree Boone of the Bronx says it tastes "dirty"; Myrna Calderon of the Fordham Hill Tenant Association calls it "nasty."

Bronx councilman Fernando Cabrera, who himself calls the water "nasty, distasteful and brackish," doesn't believe the city's reassurance that the tap water is as good as ever.

3. Boston Beats NYC for ‘Top Pizza Restaurant' Title in New Ranking

New Yorkers who fiercely tout their pizzerias as the best in the world may take issue with a new restaurant ranking.

TripAdvisor has named a Boston restaurant the top pizza restaurant in the U.S., based on “millions of reviews and opinions from diners,” according to the site.

The pizzeria beat out a popular Manhattan pizza joint — the only New York City pizzeria that made the top five.
