Kearny Police said the man was taken into custody and no one was hurt in the Harrison Avenue incident, which started shortly before noon and wrapped up within an hour.
A gun -- either a BB gun or some type of pellet gun -- was recovered from the man's car, police said, adding there was no threat to the public.
