Federal marshals have captured a fugitive convicted of drug charges in New Jersey and New York after 19 years on the run.
Authorities arrested Justo Guzman at Newark Liberty International Airport on Wednesday as he entered the U.S. from the Dominican Republic. Marshals were monitoring his whereabouts after discovering where he was living.
Guzman was convicted in 1984 of conspiracy to distribute cocaine. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and a lifetime of parole.
An arrest warrant for violating terms of his parole was issued in 1997.
