NBCNewYork has obtained mug shots of two of the latest Madoff employees to be charged in the massive Ponzi scheme.
Longtime Madoff secretary Annette Bongiorno looks stone-faced in her photo. The Madoff assistant has been living in a multimillion dollar home in a gated community in Florida.
Joann Crupi appeared in federal court in Manhattan after her arrest. She said nothing to NBC cameras when she left court. The New Jersey native, wearing a red shirt, looks expressionless in her mug shot.
Lawyers for both women deny their clients helped Madoff orchestrate the $65 billion dollar fraud.
So far eight people have been arrested by the FBI in connection with the scheme. More arrests are expected in the weeks ahead. Madoff is serving a life sentence in a federal prison in North Carolina.
