A woman assaulted and robbed a 71-year-old woman in a Bronx elevator, police said Sunday.
The victim went into an elevator in a residential building at Cruger Avenue and Pelham Parkway on Saturday and was followed by a woman, the NYPD said.
The suspect hit the victim in the stomach and took her belongings, then fled, police said.
The suspect is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 190 pounds with long braids, police said. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket and brown pants.
