9 Injured as 2 New York-Bound Buses Collide on I-95

One person suffered serious injuries; the rest were minor, authorities said.

Nine people were injured when two buses bound for New York crashed on Interstate 95 in Connecticut around 11 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

One of the nine sustained serious injuries, officials said. All other injuries were minor.

Two coach buses --  one traveling from Boston to New York and the other between Canada and New York --   were involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer and a car between exits 31 and 30 in Stratford, police said.

Injured passengers were were taken to Bridgeport Hospital and St. Vincent's Medical Center in Connecticut.

Traffic was moving through the area again as of 2 p.m.
