Bronx Zoo's Triplet Lion Cubs Celebrate 1st Birthday

Three adorable lion cubs celebrated their first birthday at the Bronx Zoo this week.

The African lion cubs have grown to more than 150 pounds each since they made their public debut at the Wildlife Conservation Society's zoo a year ago.

The cubs, Nala, Shani and Adamma, live with their father, M'wasi in the zoo's African Plains exhibit, which opened 70 years ago this month.

See the cute lion cubs and their regal father at the zoo, open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check out the Bronx Zoo's website to learn more.
