The body of a Newark mom who went missing last week has been found in a city apartment.
Essex County prosecutors say the cause and manner of Patricia Hiciano's death have not yet been determined.
Authorities announced Monday night that the 37-year-old mother of four had been found Saturday afternoon in an apartment in the 900 block of South 20th Street, in the city's South Ward.
The death is being investigated by the county's Major Crimes and Homicide Task Force and Newark police.
