New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has a meeting scheduled with New Jersey Gov.-elect Chris Christie.
According to a spokesman for the mayor, the two men will meet Thursday at City Hall to discuss "regional issues."
The New York City mayor works with the New Jersey governor on a variety of issues, including the development of the World Trade Center site, which is owned by the Port Authority of New York and
New Jersey.
The billionaire mayor was just re-elected to a third term last month, and the Republican Christie unseated Gov. John Corzine.
Bloomberg is no longer a member of any political party but the former Republican ran on the GOP ballot line.
