Police in New Jersey have a man in custody who may be connected to the slaying of his parents inside their home.

The bodies of Frank Warner and his wife, Joyanne, were found in the couple's Warren County home on Sunday. Washington Township police had responded to a report of an unconscious person.

The Warners were 73 years old. Although authorities have not released how the couple was killed, Warren County prosecutors say that blunt force trauma was evident on the victims' bodies.

Authorities on Monday were seeking to question 50-year-old Todd Warner. Authorities say he is considered armed and dangerous and may be driving a silver Kia Soul with New Jersey registration E11 LCW.

Authorities describe Todd Warner as being around 5 feet 11 inches and weighing approximately 220 pounds.

The Warren County Prosecutor's Office says Todd Warner is the slain couple's son.

Officials say he faces active warrants for credit card theft and motor vehicle theft.
