An armed man took cash from a subway station token booth in Brooklyn as a worker was inside on Tuesday, police said.
The man, armed with a gun, forced his way into the token booth at the Junius Street station in Brownsville around 3 p.m. as a cleaner was trying to empty the garbage, the NYPD said.
The man opened the register and took off with an undetermined amount of cash.
The worker was uninjured.
Police are looking for the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Charles Hudgins. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
