Police say a helicopter has crashed in the backyard of a home in Westchester, but no one was injured.
Police in the town of Yorktown say the chopper crashed Friday evening at about 6 p.m. According to the FAA, a Sikorsky S55D made a hard landing on field near Yorktown, flipping on its side.
Officials blamed a malfunctioning fuel pump.
Two people were on board the helicopter at the time of the crash. They were not hurt.
Investigation is ongoing.
