Newborn Baby, Toddler Found in NJ Drug House: Police

A newborn baby and a toddler were found in a drug house, where officers also recovered heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and handguns, police said. 

Three men were charged with endangering the welfare of children along with drug and gun charges, Paterson police said. 

The toddler was 2 years old and the baby just 5 days old, police said. One of the men charged is the father of the children, police said. 

Officers raided a home Friday on East 23rd Street in Paterson, police said. They confiscated 27 glassines of heroin, 88 baggies of crack cocaine, two jars of marijuana and one baggie of MDMA.

They also recovered two handguns, a Smith and Wesson .38-caliber revolver and a 9mm Taurus Arms semi-automatic handgun, police said.
