Police say they've arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of a 44-year-old woman on Staten Island.
Ilona Ganzha was found in her home around 3:30 p.m. Monday. She was declared dead at the scene.
The NYPD said previously that a 44-year-old man was found at the scene with apparently self-inflicted stab wounds. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police said Tuesday that they have arrested Adiljan Anarbaev of Staten Island on murder, contempt and weapons possession charges.
It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
