A driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a Long Island post office early Saturday, police said.
The man was driving a 2001 Dodge Suburban just after midnight when he fell asleep and drove through an intersection, struck a lamppost, drove through a lawn and crashed into the Greenlawn post office, Suffolk County police said.
The driver declined medical treatment. No one else was injured.
