Police are looking for the masked man who pushed a 27-year-old woman to the ground and repeatedly punched her in the face before sexually assaulting her in the Bronx over the weekend.
Authorities say the suspect approached the victim from behind and attacked her near Westchester Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. He ran off after sexually assaulting her.
The victim suffered bruising and contusions from the beating.
The suspect is described as being between 25 and 30 years old and about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a ski mask over his face and had on a gray jacket and white sneakers.
