Boxer Pleads to Disorderly Conduct in Kennedy Airport Gun Case

A boxer who was arrested at Kennedy Airport on gun charges has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
 
Robert Guerrero pleaded to the lesser charge in Queens on Tuesday. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine and complete 50 hours of community service.
 
Guerrero will be able to perform the community service in his home state of California. He lives in Gilroy.
 
The 30-year-old fighter presented a locked gun box during check-in at the airport on March 28. It contained an unloaded .40-caliber handgun and three unloaded magazines. The gun was registered in California but was not legal in New York.
 
Guerrero said he never intended to violate New York law.
 
Guerrero lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 4 in Las Vegas in a unanimous 12-round decision.
