NJ Country Club Duped Man Into Eating Pot Brownie: Lawsuit

A man who claimed he was duped into eating a brownie laced with marijuana is suing a New Jersey country club and some of its members.

Barry Russo claims he became lightheaded, dizzy and experienced numbness after eating the brownie in the locker room at the Copper Hill Country Club in East Amwell in June.

Russo was taken to a hospital, where he tested positive for a substance found in marijuana.

The 68-year-old diabetic, who has a history of stroke, accuses the club president and two members of serving the brownie.

Copper Hill Controller John Howey told the Courier News of Bridgewater he forwarded a request for comment, but no one responded.
